Eric A. Sabala, CPA

Eric is a graduate from Wichita State University with a Masters degree In Professional Accountancy and a Bachelors in Business Administration-Accounting. Eric has several years of experience in public accounting.

At Sabala, Harmon & Case, Eric is responsible for both business and individual income tax returns, tax planning and consulting. He also is responsible for both compilations and reviews and assists clients in the areas of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.

Eric is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also active in various organizations and groups.

Eric is married to Liz and they have three children. He is a member of CrossFit and enjoys outdoor activities.

Trina M Swart Harmon, CPA, MBA

Trina graduated Cum Laude from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration – Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration, graduating Cum Laude. Before joining McFarren & Magnifico in 2012, Trina worked in a regional CPA firm where she specialized in auditing, tax, and consulting in the area of manufacturing and biofuels. She became a partner at McFarren, Magnifico & Harmon CPAs in 2014.

At Sabala, Harmon & Case, Trina is responsible for both business and individual income tax preparation and research. She prepares compilations and reviews and assists clients in the areas of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.

Trina serves on the board of directors as Treasurer for Genesis Foundation of Fitness and Tennis, board of directors for the Friends of the Wichita Art Museum (served as Treasurer for two years), board of directors for the Risk Management Association, and has been a business advisor for Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants – serving on the Young Professional’s Task Force. She also serves on the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting Advisory Council for Fort Hays State University. She was selected to participate in the 2012 KSCPA 20 up to 40 Leadership program. Trina was recognized as a Wichita Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 honoree, Class of 2015. In 2018 she was a nominee and was selected as the AICPA-KSCPA Women to Watch Award as an Emerging Leader.

Trina is married to Will Harmon, a commercial realtor at Keller Williams Realty. They have a daughter, Brixley.

Gina D. Case, CPA

Gina graduated from The University of Kansas with a Bachelors in Business Administration and Accounting in 2003. Gina has several years of experience in public accounting including her time with a regional CPA firm.

At Sabala, Harmon & Case, Gina is responsible for both business and individual income tax returns, tax planning and consulting. She also is responsible for both compilations and reviews and assists clients in the areas of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.

Gina is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She was a member of the Kansas Society’s 20 up to 40 Leadership program in 2013.

Gina is married to Jeremy Case and they have three children. She is a member of CrossFit and enjoys running and being outdoors especially with her children.

Frank A. Sabala, CPA

Frank received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Wichita State University in 1975. His professional experience includes all areas of business and individual tax including estates and trusts, construction, oil & gas, medical, dental and other professional practices. He also has experience with business retirement plans and provides assistance with business succession planning.  

Frank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.  

Frank is married to Kerry, has four children, and eight grandchildren.  He enjoys spending time with family, physical fitness and being outdoors. 

Susan McFarren, CPA

Susan McFarren knew in high school that she wanted to be an accountant. She graduated Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, from Wichita State University in 1982.

As a partner in a local CPA firm for twenty-five years, Susan has experience with running a business and knows the value of educating and advising clients. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve business success, providing her expertise in accounting services, individual, corporate, and partnership tax consulting.

She advises small and medium-size businesses in a variety of industries including medical practices, transportation, engineering, real estate, and construction.

A firm believer in the power of knowledge and education, Susan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and was previously designated as a QuickBooks® ProAdvisor. She has presented tax planning and practice management seminars to the members of the Wichita Graduate School of Medical Education and volunteers as a reading coach for the Read to Succeed initiative.

Tracy Goodrum, CPA

Tracy is a graduate of Creighton University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration – Accounting. She spent several years in the private sector and has experience in the transportation, financial and sporting goods industries. Most recently, Tracy has experience in public accounting in both business and personal tax preparation, compilations, and audit for governmental entities.

At Sabala, Harmon and Case, Tracy is responsible for business and personal tax preparation, compilations and assistance with client bookkeeping.

Tracy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Tracy is married to Darin, and they have four children.

Tammie Isbell

Tammie has over 20 years experience in secretarial administration pertaining directly to the accounting profession. Her responsibilities are an integral part of our client relations and office procedures. She also works closely with clients, assisting with general bookkeeping and payroll solutions.

Jessica Lempke

Jessica is a graduate of University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and minor in Finance. She has spent over 10 years in the private sector and has experience in the construction, environmental, franchise and financial industries.

At Sabala, Harmon and Case, Jessica is responsible for assistance with business and personal tax preparation, payroll processing, and assistance with client bookkeeping.

Jessica is currently serving as board member for Cricket Alley Ministries and is an active volunteer in the YMCA youth sports programs in Wichita.

Jessica is married to Randy, and they have three children.

Shawn Bauman

Shawn is a graduate of Wichita State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration – Accounting and a minor in Management. Prior to entering the accounting world, Shawn spent sixteen years in long-term care pharmacy focused on human resources and payroll. In the last several years he has worked for locally owned CPA firms with experience in both tax and auditing plus exposure to the private accounting world. His emphasis during this time as been in the manufacturing, construction, retail and service industries.

Shawn prepares business and individual tax returns, reviews and builds financial statements, and assists clients with their bookkeeping needs. He has experience with payroll, HR, complex Excel setups, and both online and desktop versions of QuickBooks.

Being active in the community is a passion of Shawn’s. He has worked on multiple non-profit boards and is currently the Treasurer of the Haysville Aviators, a summer collegiate baseball team, and is a member of the Christian Business League of Kansas.

Married to Paula with five children they enjoy traveling, attending Glenville Baptist Church, watching baseball and fishing. Shawn loves all things Shockers, supporting local business in Wichita and the surrounding area, meeting and getting to know new people and working with professional, civic and non-profit boards.

Wilma Magnifico, CPA

Retired

Wilma received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Wichita State University in 1975. Her professional experience includes all areas of business and individual tax including estates and trusts, construction, oil & gas, agriculture, transportation, and medical practices. She also has experience with foreign taxpayers, tax-exempt requests, estate and gift tax valuations, and provides assistance with business succession planning.

Wilma is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has served the accounting profession as a member of the board of directors for the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Board of Accountancy. Her civic involvement has included board membership with the Wichita Downtown Lions Club, Wichita Garden Show, and Botanica.
