Trina, originally from Marysville, KS, graduated Cum Laude from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration – Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration. Before joining McFarren & Magnifico in 2012, Trina worked in a regional CPA firm where she specialized in auditing, tax, and consulting in the area of manufacturing and biofuels.  She became a partner at McFarren, Magnifico & Harmon CPAs in 2014.

At Sabala, Harmon & Case, Trina is responsible for both business and individual income tax preparation, tax planning, consulting and research. She is also responsible for both compilations and reviews and assists clients in the areas of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.

Trina serves as Chair of the Kansas Board of Accountancy and as Treasurer of the Genesis Foundation of Fitness and Tennis. She has also been a business advisor for Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas, served on the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting Advisory Council at Fort Hays State University, and as a board member for the Kansas Society of CPAs, Risk Management Association, and the Friends of the Wichita Art Museum. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She was selected to participate in the 2012 KSCPA 20 up to 40 Leadership program and was recognized as a Wichita Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 honoree, Class of 2015. In 2018 she was a nominee and was selected as the 2018 AICPA-KSCPA Women to Watch Award’s Emerging Leader.

Trina is married to Will Harmon, a commercial realtor at Sperry Ad Astra Commerical.  They have two daughters.
